Halloween pics

Our gorgeous little fairy.

Colter wouldn't keep his mask on.

I thought it be fun to post some Halloween pictures from the past couple of years:

Family Night

Last week our neighborhood had a little Halloween carnival on Wednesday night. Even though it was freezing, we had lots of fun. Colter got to do a cake walk (and was so excited when he won), he went fishing, jumped in a bounce house, and got his face painted. We ended the night by coming home & playing our new game Twister. Colter enjoyed practicing his colors and his left & right(see video below). I love nights like these. I love hanging out with my family!

2 months old

Sydney turned 2 months old yesterday. She is such a good baby. She rarely cries & is really easygoing. She had her well check visit today. She weighs 12lbs 7oz (85 percentile) and is 24 inches tall (95 percentile). Here is a picture of her at 2 months.

This was Colter at 2 months. He weighed 11lbs 14oz and was 22 3/4 inches tall.

Colter has been great with Sydney. I love watching him interact with her. As for with me, I started working about 6-7 hours a week doing marketing for the ortho office. I LOVE LOVE LOVE being home with my kids. It is such a great blessing. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Colter thought she needed some toys to play with. He kept running back & forth to his room to get more stuff.

Cousin Pictures

Last week my sisters & I took our kids to JCPenney's to get cousin pictures taken. It actually went pretty good considering there were 6 kids under the age of 4. The pics turned out super cute.

Sydney's blessing

We blessed our sweet baby Sydney today. Everything went perfect. She looked so beautiful. She was an angel the whole Sacrament meeting. We had a luncheon afterward for our family & friends who came to the blessing. Thank you to everyone who came. We appreciate your love and support. Here are a few pictures:

I'm usually not a fan of the "goofy" pictures, but it was fun to do with Colter.

This is my cute cousin Kale holding Sydney. He absolutely adores
Colter & Sydney (and they adore him). He's such a sweetheart.

Fire Trucks & Halloween Costumes

This past Saturday in between conference sessions, Colter & I went to a neighborhood party by my parents house. They had firemen and fire trucks there that the kids could get inside and tour. Colter thought it was really cool. I love his face in this one.

I found this really cute costume at Once Upon a Child for pretty cheap. By the way, if anyone is looking for kid halloween costumes, they have a ton of really cute used ones at Once Upon a Child. Colter LOVES Shrek so he was super excited! I think he looks hilarious.

Catch up

Well, it's been a really long time since my last post. Sydney will be one month old tomorrow. We are all doing great. She is such a sweet little baby. Colter has been so cute with Sydney. He is constantly kissing, hugging, singing, talking & playing with her. He has his jealous days, but overall he does great with her. We did have a bad day last week where he jumped on her head. I was at my parents house, changing Sydney's diaper, when Colter got excited about something & jumped up and landed on her head. He landed pretty hard so we were definitely worried with her being so young. I ended up taking her to the doctor's to have it checked out just in case. She is fine (such a relief). Colter & I had a talk after that and I'm pretty sure he knows NOT to do that again. I LOVE being home with my kids. It's been nice being able to spend more time with Colter.

Colter singing to Sydney! So sweet.

Here are a few pictures of Sydney. I don't have any recent ones b/c she has had really bad baby acne the past couple weeks.

This year Colter started preschool. My mom & sister teach it and he absolutely loves it! He is learning so much and having a lot of fun. I love that he gets to get out of the house a few times a week and do something he enjoys. I also love the break. We also have been working a little bit on potty training. It's not going so well. I don't think he is ready, but I still going to try. If anyone has potty training tips, I would love to hear them.
